Sushi Go! is a card drafting game based on the different Japanese foods at a sushi restaurant. Card drafting is when players are working to gather sets of cards worth different point totals. I think it is a good game for beginners or a party of people. Its an easy and fun game to play with your friends or family. I think it can get very repetitive after you have played heaps of times. There is an expansion that you can get called Sushi Go Party! It has more cards and you can play it with more different variations too. Much better than the classic Sushi Go!.
Sushi Go Party! has thirteen card types plus the original eight card types. In the original game you can only play the eight card types in a deck making it eight different types of food that you can play with. Whereas in the expansion game there is twenty-one card types that you can choose eight card types to make your deck to play with. It is better than the original game because you can make your own set or follow the premade ones from the rulebook to play with and there is heaps more cards to play with.

I think this is suited to players age 7+ so they can be able to read and understand how the point system works. When I first played the game we had a bit of confusion with passing the cards and how the points work. The drawing of the sushi is cute and the iddea is pretty simple. Overall I think it is an easy game once you get the hang of it and can be easily taught to people.
From a teenager perspective.
