What is Bubble tea?

Bubble tea is a popular mainly sweet tea drink, originating from Taiwan. Over the years bubble tea has gained a lot of popularity, especially across America, Australia and all of Asia for the various different types of flavouring and toppings you can put in this drink. The drink is made out of tea, milk, flavouring and toppings. The drink is quite tea based, whether it be a black tea or green tea for a fruit flavoured drink. However over the years, people have been experimenting with the tea base and made it a more milky or juice base instead of tea. The milk part of this drink can be substituted to other milk alternative whether it’s almond or oat milk etc. The flavouring component can be any type of flavour the store has whether it be a type of fruit or just the original milk tea. Toppings in this drink varies depending on the shop, ranging from jellies to popping boba. The most popular topping is boba or pearls – a black ball made of tapioca starch that is chewy. This drink is fully customisable to your own taste. Check out the section below for more about ordering bubble tea.
